Our First Awarded Sponsorship

P.L.A.Y. was just established in 2019, and from the get go there was a need for a young volleyball player within our community. We had not fully established ourselves as a 501.C.3, however we still felt called to help support this young girl, and her family. Her family was struggling to find a home after being told that the home they rented was being sold, and she came from a single parent household. She is extremly talented and a great student, and so deserving of the support. So, we set out on a mission to raise $3000 to help fully fund her 2018/2019 Volleyball Season. We reached out to several friends who own small businesses and partnered with them for donations to hold an online auction. Thru the auction we raised $1600.00. We have continued to reach out for donations and support and have been able to fully fund her volleyball season by May 2019. So everyone, meet Serena, the first official sponsorship reciepient of P.L.A.Y.
